Meet Newell

Director Newell Hodgson comes from an extensive building and management background – all of which allow BTP Construction to deliver the all-encompassing build. He is a Licenced Building Practitioner and Registered Master Builder.

Newell has a passion for building homes and treats each project as if it is his own. He offers his 30+ years of construction experience in developing your new home. 

Newell’s passion is renovations, making the new and old seamless so it looks as it was always meant to be. Everything should look in balance, work together as a whole and the details - however small - are there to compliment the overall vision.

Newell has a Commerce Degree from Otago University which helps with overseeing all aspects of business within his own company as well as client’s individual jobs and projects.

Newell is also an active member of the Queenstown Volunteer Fire Brigade holding a rank of a Senior Fire Fighter. It is great to work in a team of like-minded peers while giving something back to the community.
